08:22 pm - Chris Dickson is the third
I'm sorry, that should read "Chris Dickson is ill". The MSO was busier, more successful and more fun than I had feared it would be, but while I was there, I picked up some sort of viral infection. I have had a very sore throat for the last 40 hours or so and a malfunctioning nose, which has more recently developed into a headache giving me an extremely restricted attention span, so this will be a very short post. Am sleeping lots, drinking lots of orange juice and had some chicken soup a while back. Will eat chocolate, too. (More prosaically, am taking paracetamol-plus-codeine, and am wondering whether you can safely mix it with ibuprofen.)

Current fascination: World cities. Brussels ahead of Amsterdam? Really?

Latest thing going around LJ is the "snaps cup" meme - post your name and people anonymously compliment you, because random compliments are good. The question I ask - anonymous replies, please, with IPs unlogged - which compliment or compliments would you like to have received as a result of this but have not yet done? Be as vain and as insecure as you feel comfortable with being behind the veil of anonymity.
Current Mood: sicksick

I am! -- and peering at your photo, it looks like you're the Juliette who used to visit said house? Small world! -- how are you, what are you up to these days?

I'm fine, working in Guildford producing interactive teaching type stuff for the maths, physics and computing departments at the university, and still playing lots of board games. How about you?

Living in Ipswich writing murder mystery party games (of all strange things), and not doing as much boardgaming as I used to... but generally life is good, glad to hear yours is too!

Just realised that I didn't reply to this. That sounds exciting! I think of Ipswich as being a place covered in snow as the only time I've been there, it was.

It's not like that all the time, thank goodness! -- or our tomatoes'd never get much of a start.
