11:10 pm - It's the most wonderful time of the year
All love and respect to the relatively Antarctic members of my Friends list, plus standouts in parts of the United States, but for a good 90% of you:

THE CLOCKS GO BACK TONIGHT

or last night if you're not reading this until Sunday daytime. "Spring forward, fall back" and all that. Accordingly there's an extra hour in bed for you all - except for 24-hour shift workers, where the unlucky night shift person gets a shift that's an hour longer. (Sometimes the extra hour gets split half-and-half with the person on the day shift afterwards.)

Unrelatedly, I'm still looking to swap away my rewriteable DVDs I can't use, as per my last post (to which replies should be directed). I will take any writeable ones from anywhere at this point. Help! :-)

Unrelatedly, the Newcastle branch of The Sports Café are useless and should be wiped off this list of locations with NASN.
Current Location: Listening to the game on Internet radio, not Newcastle
Current Mood: tiredtired
Current Music: "Real Men of Genius" commercial on the above

Since you are a kind soul who posts summer time updates twice a year, I thought I should see if you'd heard that the US is going to have MOAR summer time henceforward:

http://www.dot.gov/affairs/dot10006.htm
http://tf.nist.gov/general/history.htm

"There will now be a total of 238 days of DST, compared to a total of 210 days of DST in 2006 under the previous rules."
